How much gravel do I need for a 25 Gallon fish tank?
Generally speaking, around 1 pound of substrate per gallon of water is what you want to go for.

is a typical recommendation, with fish-keepers using a range of 1" to 2.5" for a fish-only tank. For a planted tank, you'll need an additional 1" nutrient layer below the sand or gravel.

This media is completely inert and won’t release any harmful substances in an aquarium. In general, it is as sharp as any other sand, as hardness is important not sharp edges. It will not hurt your bottom-dwelling fish. In conclusion, the Black Fine sand is completely safe for fish tank use.
Recommend Multiple rinse cycles to material
before using
to remove any dust or debris.
Rinse until runoff is completely clear.
