15" Vintage Molded Cloth Mask Face Mollye Holland Netherlands All Original

Description

Antique or vintage 15-inch (16-inch with wooden clogs on) Mollye International Doll in all original outfit. Mollye International dolls were made to represent 28 countries and were sold 1924 - 1940's and came in three sizes.
Cloth Mollye's were not marked, but came with a wrist tag and the box identified the doll.
Head: Molded cloth mask face with blue eyes and bright face color and red lips. She has a smudge of dirt on her nose. She has yellow yarn braids and bangs with ivory voile Dutch hat. The hat is dingy from age and could benefit from a Woolite soak.
Body: Flesh-tone muslin-type cloth body that is well-stuffed. It shows some dirt from age and could use some surface cleaning.
Clothing: Note: Mollye wrist tag is a reproduction that I purchased on eBay. Since I knew she was a Mollye, I bought the tag to complete her original outfit. Holland Mollye's original outfit consists of the following:
1. Blue polished cotton (or similar) gather waist skirt  with pink and yellow trim attached to bright pink bodice with long sleeves that buttons in back. Dress shows from dirt from age and could benefit from a Woolite soak.
2. Muslin apron with print band sewn on that ties in back
3. Black or navy cummerbund with yellow ric-rac trim
4. Muslin pantaloons with lace edging
5. Wooden clog shoes
6. Voile Dutch hat that could use cleaning
