    ♥ Stunning, 23" long,
    circa late 1920
    s, cloth
    boudoir
    or
    bed doll
    (so called, "Egg head" because of the oval shape of her head) by
    American Stuffed Novelty Co.
    having beautifully molded and painted, lady-like features with original long,
    lavender purple, sateen cloth
    body
    , long slender arms
    and hands and
    long slender cloth legs with shaped feet. Her features are very well molded and painted including her long slender nose, shaped chin, lovely complexion and blush, pretty ♥ shaped mouth and lips,
    black side-glancing
    eyes with fly-away long eyelashes,
    smokey grey eyeshadow
    ,
    and graceful eyebrows.
    Her original,
    thick, raven black, floss wig
    is hand sewn with center part and thick braided curls on either side of her face and at the back is in perfect condition (usually these dolls had very sparse wigs under their hats).
    She wears long black taffeta trousers beneath her black gown with full lace overlay, puff sleeves and gold braid trim and matching gold hair band. She is in super clean condition with no stains or fading, no damages or repairs (very tiny pin hole next to nose) and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
