FlorinBase Laterin Substrat F can be used in all planted and freshwater shrimp biotope aquaria. Iron deficiency in plants causes slow growth rates, poor color for green and red plants and overall poor health. FlorinBase Laterin Substrat F is ideal for planted aquariums because it stores and makes minerals available for plants. This high porosity, kiln-fired clay substrate contains a multitude of minerals including iron to ensure plant health and new growth. A fine granular substrate designed to be used as a base layer above FlorinBase Laterin Substrat VF and FlorinBase Laterite powder.
