Very RARE and desirable,
PAIR
of antique cloth,
child-like
boudoir
dolls
by
ETTA, Inc., New York, (Miss Etta Kidd)
produced only from 1927-1930. These sweet-faced charmers measure, just over 15" tall, with
swivel necks
and original full heads of blond, center-stitched hair in long ringlets. These cuties have all the features that ETTA dolls are known for including rosy cheeks, big blue, painted side-glancing eyes with hi-lites and eyelashes, cute little molded noses and pretty mouths with dividing line. They have those adorable long legs with pink knees and long arms with individually stitched fingers and all their original
sewn-in, label:
ETTA/New York,
(on one) clothing including adorable, lace-trimmed, one-piece pink cotton undies and matching pink cotton dress and bonnet, both trimmed with matching lace AND exact same type of floral-printed outfit on the other with organdy sash and bonnet trim, original socks and shoes with button and/or laced closures! Often confused with dolls by Blossom and Gerling they are extremely difficult to find. And a matching pair are really a treasure.
