Red Lava Rock Aquarium Gravel Substrate

Description

This listing is for a half-pound (~250g+) of assorted sized red lava rock. Because of its porous surface, it is great for use in aquariums where bacteria colonies will thrive on it. This quantity of rock is intended for stacking or placing in another substrate, such as sand, and is not recommended for use as the sole substrate for more than a betta bowl. The lava rock has been rinsed once but will need to be washed again due to abrasion during shipping. Because it is a natural product, this lava rock may contain varying shades of red as indicated in the pictures, with some shades being closer to brown/black. The rocks pictured are extremely similar to what you will receive but not the exact rocks.
