We are pleased to offer an extremely RARE,
original
patented February 13th, 1900
,
pair
of printed and cotton stuffed, cloth,
PUNCH & JUDY, comical
lithographed dolls by American manufacturer,
Art Fabric Mills, New York
as pictured on page 13, "Playthings by the Yard"-Walker & Whitton (see illustration photo).  This pair of traditional, French clown type dolls each measure 23" and 25" tall including their small feet. Their expressions and detailed clothing are exceptional. Pictured here in front of a large, wooden,
antique
puppet theater and an original boxed set of Punch & Judy puppets (
neither
are
included
) they will certainly make a terrific addition to any antique cloth doll collection. From a smoke free home with minimal normal, age related staining, (due to over 125 years of play) no repairs.
Included
is an original 1951 Ireland Magic Company, Chicago "Punch & Judy Show" puppet script that includes original detailed plans for building your own wooden theater. We will be listing the original boxed set of puppets and the large wood theater (NOT included) later this year.
